• Assistive Technology Services is Montgomery County’s leading provider of assistive technology for persons with disabilities.  Within its offices at the Job Center, Assistive Technology Services offers a lending library of assistive technology, a subscription service to access and learn about the technology available at Assistive Technology Services, a vision center showcasing computer access technology for persons who are blind or visually impaired, support and technical assistance, and a program that provides computers to special education classes within the Miami Valley.  In addition, through funds distributed through Committee to Aid the Blind, Assistive Technology Services helps persons with visual impairments to purchase tools and equipment.  Contact:  Kevin Leonard, 461-3305
• Career Center at Elizabeth Place
• Persons with disabilities are often unable to access critical job information over the Internet because they do not have the necessary computer access technology.  The Career Center at Elizabeth Place provides state-of-the-art computers and assistive technology to assist persons with disabilities identify job leads, send applications, resumes, and cover letters over the Internet, obtain career development information, and learn about available assistive technology.  Contact:  Ed Malahy, 937-223-1226
